As an ordained minister, my role goes far beyond standing at the front and reading words. I guide couples through the ceremony planning process, help shape a meaningful structure, offer support with vows, lead the rehearsal, and serve as a calm, steady presence on the wedding day. My goal is to create a ceremony that feels personal, grounded, and true to who you are—not generic or rushed.
That depends entirely on you. I work with couples across a wide spectrum—from traditional religious ceremonies to non-denominational, interfaith, and fully personalized celebrations. We’ll talk through what feels meaningful to you, and I’ll help design a ceremony that reflects your values and beliefs while remaining welcoming to everyone present.
Absolutely. This is very common. I help couples feel confident and prepared, whether that means guiding you through writing vows, offering reassurance during the rehearsal, or setting a calm tone on the wedding day. You don’t need to be performers—you just need to be present. I’ll help take care of the rest.
Yes. I offer guidance, prompts, and feedback to help you write vows that feel authentic and meaningful—without pressure or clichés. If you’d rather not write your own vows, I can also help craft wording that reflects your relationship while still feeling personal.
I work with couples well before the ceremony. This includes planning conversations, ceremony structure, timing, vow guidance, and rehearsal coordination. By the time your wedding day arrives, everything feels familiar and intentional—so you can relax and enjoy the moment.
Yes. Leading the rehearsal is an important part of my role. I make sure everyone knows where to be, what to expect, and how the ceremony will flow. This helps reduce stress for the couple and wedding party and ensures the wedding day runs smoothly.
I guide you through Wisconsin’s marriage license requirements and ensure everything is completed correctly. After the ceremony, I take care of signing and returning the paperwork so you don’t have to worry about the legal details.
Most ceremonies last between 15–30 minutes, depending on your preferences. I help strike the right balance—meaningful and heartfelt without feeling long or awkward. We’ll decide together what works best for you and your guests.
Yes—every ceremony is customized. I don’t use one-size-fits-all scripts. Your ceremony is built around your story, values, and vision for the day, whether that’s simple and intimate or rich with tradition.
Many couples love the idea of a friend or family member officiating—but also want the ceremony to feel polished, calm, and well-guided. As an ordained minister, I bring experience, structure, and emotional steadiness, while still honoring personal connections if you choose to include loved ones in meaningful ways.
